While Rabbi Peretz and Chanie plan many of the programs offered at the Chabad House, they are also committed to fostering student leadership. Each year a committee of students is selected, known as the Chabad Board, to plan events in collaboration with the University and the Chabad House. These students serve as liaisons between the greater Brandeis community and the Chabad House. Past events have included a debate with the Brandeis Humanists about the existence of God, the annual Hookah in the Sukkah, a Mitzvah Marathon, and an unforgettable Purim Carnival.
