Chabad 360° Year Two, Academic Year '27

College teaches you almost everything. Except how to author your own life.
Your classes prepare you for a career. Chabad 360° prepares you for everything else - your connection to yourself, to Judaism, and to the people who matter to you. It's the skill of self-authorship, learning to build a life from the inside instead of borrowing one from whatever room you happen to be standing in.
There is nothing else like it on any campus. Right now, it exists only at Brandeis. And you're here.
Year One, in students' words
Last year, 31 students piloted Chabad 360°. Nearly all of the students who could continue said they wanted to. Here's what they told us:
"It was a time for me to step outside my life to look at it more objectively, analytically, and reflectively."
"I've grown in my Judaism in a way that I now am learning to incorporate it into every aspect of my life."
"This experience gives according to the effort put in. A lot of wisdom is placed in front of you. All you have to do is take it."
And 4 out of 5 said the work is already reaching beyond their Jewish lives, into friendships, decisions, and how they handle everything college throws at them.
Now we're excited to welcome a new cohort.
What the year looks like
Weekly Shabbat dinners. The signature Chabad table: four courses, real conversation, and the relaxed joy at the end of a long week. Come unwind. You've earned it.
Weekly gatherings. Monday and Thursday evenings; choose the one that fits your schedule. (Can't make those evenings? Note that in your form.) Small groups, Jewish texts, and the Soular System™: noticing without judging, unpacking what things are really about, and experimenting with change.
One-on-ones. Time with Chanie or Peretz for your learning, your growth, your life. You pick how frequently.
Who it's for
Sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This is the work of these exact years. You've left home, but you haven't yet gone out on your own. There's no better window, and there may never be another one.
Seniors: If enough of you want it, we'll build a unique Senior Track focused on the transition into independent life. The year after Brandeis is exactly what this work is for. Tell us on your form. If a separate track will not be built, then you'll join with the other participants.
Returning from last year? Year two isn't a repeat. It's a deepening: you'll strengthen the skills you've built and learn new ones. The spiral goes further down (and further up).
First Years: You're warmly invited to Shabbat dinners all year. Settle into college, get to know us, and join Chabad 360° as a sophomore.
Weekly Shabbat Dinners
Weekly Shabbat dinners remain open to Chabad 360° participants (bring a friend!), to students exploring or expanding their connection to Judaism and to First Years. Brandeis community-wide Shabbat dinners happen about every three weeks once the holidays are over. And Chanie and Peretz remain here for every student. Always.
The honest conversation about cost
Chabad 360° costs $2,500 per semester, $5,000 for the year. That covers 30 gourmet Shabbat and holiday dinners, weekly learning, and personal mentorship all year.
Like college itself, this is an education whose value has a cost. We invite your parents to partner with us in it; they're direct beneficiaries of who you're becoming.
And here is our promise: no one will ever be turned away over money. Thanks to generous donors, scholarships are available to anyone who tells us they want one. No forms to justify, no hoops. If you receive a full scholarship, we ask only for a donation from you or your family that's meaningful to you, because ownership is the whole point.
