Rabbi Peretz and Chanie Chein arrived in the fall of 2001 to Waltham and established the Chabad House at Brandeis University.

With the vision of a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment, they came to establish a place where Jewish students of all backgrounds and levels of observance can enjoy exploring their Jewish heritage.

Chabad House is a place of learning, friendship, and growth that begins in college and continues through adulthood - a distinctive experience cultivated by its founders, Peretz and Chanie Chein.
